Harrisburg Christian Performing Arts Center (HCPAC) has announced recent and continuing fundraising activities and volunteer opportunities.

On Nov. 14, 2020, HCPAC hosted a Grand Reopening Cabaret fundraiser. This live event featured five seasoned vocalists, parent and director testimonials, and a mission presentation by the ministry's executive director, Sherry Webb. Each Christmas, in lieu of a personal gift from the HCPAC board of directors, Webb asks that a building project be completed. Webb's Christmas wish in 2020 was for two of the aging cast bathrooms to be remodeled. So far, HCPAC has raised $1,000 of the approximately $2,500 that it estimates is needed for the project. HCPAC is also in need of volunteers who can provide skilled labor. Volunteers are needed on Wednesday, Feb. 10, from 5 to 8 p.m. for demolition; Friday, Feb. 12, from 5 to 8 p.m. for construction; Saturday, Feb. 13, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for construction; Tuesday, Feb. 16, from 5 to 8 p.m. for installation of stall partitions and fixtures; and Wednesday, Feb. 17, from 5 to 8 p.m. for finishing touches.
