HCVHA To Offer Homemade Lasagna, Fastnachts

The Hay Creek Valley Historical Association (HCVHA), the nonprofit organization that maintains and operates Historic Joanna Furnace, is planning two "foodraiser" events.

The first is a Valentine's Day Lasagna Dinner on Tuesday, Feb. 14. The takeout meal will include a one-and-a-half-pound pan of lasagna, along with salad, bread and a homemade dessert. Each dinner is designed to serve one person.

Individuals can purchase meat, cheese or gluten-free lasagna. All dinners will be sold cold with heating instructions included.

Dinners can be picked up on Feb. 14 from noon to 5 pm. A cost will be charged per dinner. The deadline to order lasagna meals is Friday, Feb. 10.

The HCVHA is also offering a sale of homemade potato fastnachts on Tuesday, Feb. 21, from noon to 5 p.m. Fastnachts can be purchased per dozen or half dozen. The order deadline is Feb. 14.
