A heifer sale will take place on Wednesday, March 17, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at New Holland Sales Stable, 101 W. Fulton St., New Holland. The event is an extension of the Pennsylvania Relief Sale, and all proceeds will benefit Mennonite Central Committee (MCC).

In addition to purchasing heifers at the sale, community members may donate a heifer. All donated heifers should be at the sale barn no later than the morning of the sale. Donors should include pedigree information.

Anyone who is unable to attend the sale may consider sending a cull cow or beef animal to the New Holland Sale on a Monday or Thursday in March and requesting that the proceeds be sent to the Pennsylvania Relief Sale. Community members may also make a direct monetary donation to Pennsylvania Relief Sale.
