Sarah Heinz, a piano student from the Carole A. Bubacz Music Studio in Mount Joy, presented her Suzuki Book 3 graduation recital for family members, fellow students, and other guests. The recital was held at Christ Church United Church of Christ on June 12 at 7 p.m.

Sarah performed pieces by Kuhlau, Petzold, Schumann, Gurlitt, Beethoven, Bartok, and Clementi. She was assisted by Lindsey Shaud, Lucy Downing, and Stewart Carter.

In addition to playing the piano, Sarah is a violinist in the orchestra and pit orchestra at Elizabethtown Area High School (EAHS). She is also a member of a Lancaster orchestra for advanced high school musicians. This year, she was accepted to play in district orchestra and advanced to regional orchestra.

Sarah is the daughter of Annalie and Matthew Heinz of Elizabethtown. She is going into her senior year at EAHS and plans to attend college to study music therapy.
