Heritage Area Plans Fall Talk

Susquehanna National Heritage Area will host a fall lecture with Monica Spiese on "Oral History" at Columbia Crossing River Trails Center, 41 Walnut St., Columbia, on Thursday, Nov. 10, from 6 to 7 p.m. Spiese is a historian at Millersville University.

Attendees will learn about the importance of oral history and how to gather and share personal stories and oral histories. After the lecture, participants will be invited to explore "Columbia's Storied Places" exhibit and further immerse themselves in Columbia's history. Participants may also add their own story or memory to the interactive story map of Columbia.
