Heritage Chorale plans Christmas concerts

The Heritage Chorale of Lancaster will present its 2023 Christmas Concert Series, "Sing We Now of Christmas!" The chorus is directed by Barry L. Sawyer, with accompaniment by Michael Good. The holiday concerts will also feature Jessica Kistler on flute.

The concert will include "Sing We Now of Christmas," arranged by Fred Prentice; "Silent Night," arranged by Philip Stopford; "O Nata Lux" by Morten Lauridsen; "Wassail Song," arranged by Stephen Paulus; "Wexford Carol," arranged by Dale Warland; "Angels' Carol" by John Rutter; "Ein Kindlein ist Uns Geboren" by Jacob Clemens non Papa; "A Christmas Lullaby" by Dan Forrest; "Before the Marvel of This Night" by Carl Schalk; "The First Noel," arranged Dan Forrest; "Born on a New Day," arranged Peter Knight; and "Still, Still, Still," arranged by Norman Luboff.

Concerts will take place on Sunday, Dec. 3, at Saint Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 10 Delp Road, Lancaster; Sunday, Dec. 10, at Landis Homes, 1001 E. Oregon Road, Lititz; and Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024, at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 3131 Columbia Ave., Lancaster. All concerts will begin at 4 p.m.

No reservations are required, and there is no admission fee. A freewill offering will be received.
