The Heritage of Green Hills, a life plan community in Shillington, has named Janice MacKenzie as its new director of independent living sales. In this role, MacKenzie is responsible for all aspects of independent living sales management, including occupancy growth, market trend analyses and execution of sales strategies and tactics.

MacKenzie said that she is looking forward to applying her passions for working with senior communities and her background in real estate and business development to help plan the residents' next steps in their senior living journeys.

MacKenzie's career has included working in real estate, business development, management and sales. She is active with the American Business Women's Association in its Women Excelling and Penn Square chapters. MacKenzie is on the board of directors for Humane Pennsylvania and is a mentor with a young woman's mentoring program in Lancaster County.
