Historic Poole Forge will host a drop-in event for prospective volunteers on Saturday, March 15, from 1 to 5 p.m. Current volunteers will also be recognized.

Attendees will be able to see inside the mansion at Poole Forge, learn about the Welsh origins of the region and also the events and projects that happen at the historic site throughout the year. Guests will also be able to meet the board and current volunteers, enjoy light refreshments and learn about volunteer and community service hour opportunities for youths.  

Volunteers are needed for several upcoming events, including the spring plant swap, children's trout derby, the spring flea market, Tea in the Mansion and the summer nature series.
