The East Petersburg Historical Society will operate a stand at the annual East Petersburg Day Celebration on Saturday, Sept. 23, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The stand will display East Petersburg artifacts and documents, and historic photographs. Wooden replicas of local historical buildings, artwork by Dorothy Hollinger, old calendars with historic photographs, fraktur artwork, and East Petersburg afghans will be available for purchase.

Additionally, the East Petersburg Historical Society will offer a program on Monday, Oct. 2, at 7 p.m. at the East Petersburg Community Park Building, 6051 Pine St., East Petersburg. Journalist and author Cory Van Brookhoven will deliver a presentation about Lancaster middleweight boxer Leo Houck.

The East Petersburg Historical Society's archive museum at the Daniel Wolf House, 1905 State St., East Petersburg, is open to the public on the first Saturday of every month throughout the year. The hours of operation are 9 a.m. to noon.
