Mount Joy Area Historical Society (MJAHS), 120 Fairview St., Mount Joy, will present an open house on Sunday, Oct. 26, from 2 to 4 p.m.

Attendees will learn about the society's capital campaign, titled "Building a Legacy: Preserving the Past for Future Generations," which has a goal of raising enough funds to renovate the current museum and make other improvements. Attendees will have a chance to view the construction plans and explore the society building while enjoying fall-themed refreshments, including apple pie and ice cream.

MJAHS will also unveil its 2026 calendar featuring two Mount Joy Parades: The World War II Homecoming Celebration and the Mount Joy Centennial Celebration.
