History Center Posts Hours, Program

The Chester County History Center, 225 N. High St., West Chester, has posted its hours and an upcoming program.

The museum is open by appointment on Thursdays to Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Museum visits start every 30 minutes, and visitors may stay as long as they wish. The library and photo archives will reopen to researchers starting on Thursday, Feb. 4. They will be open on Thursdays to Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Library and photo archives visits are limited to either morning or afternoon. To submit research queries online, readers may contact library@chestercohistorical.org.

"Promised Prize: The African American Struggle for Double Victory," a part of the History Matters Speaker Series, will be presented on Wednesday, Feb. 17, from 7 to 8 p.m. via Zoom. Viewers may Robert J. Kodosky of West Chester University for an exploration of the struggle of the Philadelphia-area Tuskegee Airmen during wartime.
