The Hershey History Center will present its 12th annual Preservation Tour, themed "Back to School," on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The tour will feature a number of school bus stops at the M.S. Hershey Consolidated School and a meet-and-greet with the architect, C. Emlen Urban.

The iconic consolidated school, built in 1914, is an early example of a progressive education concept at the turn of the 20th century. Designed by Urban, the building remains an architectural vestige of interest in Hershey's youngest citizens as well as an investment made to benefit them. Attendees are asked to arrive for the tour at the Hershey History Center, 40 Northeast Drive, Hershey, at either 10:45 a.m. or 12:45 p.m.
