The Hershey History Center, 40 Northeast Drive, Hershey, will host a presentation about its 2024 World War II European Battlefield Tour, "In the Footsteps of Major Dick Winters," on Monday, Oct. 23, 6:30 p.m. and Tuesday, Oct. 24, at 10 a.m. The 2024 tour will commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Allies' liberation efforts in Western Europe.

The itinerary, offered since 2009, follows the route of Easy Company, 101st Airborne, AKA The Band of Brothers. Maj. Dick Winters, a longtime resident of Hershey, commanded the unit during World War II. The History Center maintains a permanent exhibit of Winters' military memorabilia, gifted by Winters.
