Holiday art show to benefit Milagro House

The Framery, Etc., 1912 Fruitville Pike, Lancaster, will showcase several local artists at its annual holiday art show. The opening reception will take place on Saturday, Nov. 4, from 2 to 5 p.m.

This year's featured artists are Jain Falcon, Karen Weber, Jean Sharf, Brenda Blank, Russell Slocum, Kim Calderwood, Nichole Madonna and Sherry Bowman. The Lancaster County area artists will show artworks related to this year's theme, "Sense of Place: Lancaster County and Pennsylvania."

The Framery, Etc. hosts an annual holiday art show in late fall or early winter, featuring local artists' creations within a specific theme, just in time to give the gift of art for the holidays. Each year, the gallery chooses a different local organization to receive 25% of show sales. This year's chosen charity is Milagro House, a nonprofit organization that provides assistance to women with children facing poverty and homelessness.

The show will run throughout November and December during regular store hours. For more details, visit http://www.theframeryetc.net or http://www.facebook.com/lancasterframeshop.
