Holiday craft bazaar posted

Lancaster Church of the Brethren will host its annual holiday craft bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 9, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the church's worship and events center. Shoppers can get an early start on Christmas shopping for teachers, friends and family or just treat themselves to something special.

Food and drinks will be available for breakfast and lunch. Proceeds from kitchen food sales, prize giveaways and vendor registration fees will benefit the Lancaster County Food Hub.

This year's bazaar has more vendors than before and will offer a variety of handmade items, including floral paintings, handcrafted greeting cards, fabric handcrafts, miscellaneous kitchen items like towels and scrubbies, and table linens. Also offered for sale will be Christmas items, including ornaments and holiday decorations; home decor such as wooden items and Scentsy warmers; homemade soaps; jewelry; and handcrafted products from artisans worldwide. There will also be a large selection of hand-woven, knitted and crocheted items, including clothing, fashion accessories, baskets, and critters, as well as artisan breads and baked goods.

While parents shop, children can make their own crafts at the children's make-and-take craft table.

Lancaster Church of the Brethren is located at 1601 Sunset Ave., near the Lancaster Shopping Center. Parking is free.
