The 35th annual Lancaster County Project for the Needy holiday dinner giveaway has partnered with the United Way of Lancaster and UPMC Pinnacle Health to provide a complete holiday meal for families throughout Lancaster County on Saturday, Dec. 18. Once again, the holiday meal distribution will take place by delivery only. There will be no pickup location at the Barnstormers' stadium.

To receive a holiday dinner, families must preregister by calling the United Way's 211 or 855-567-5341 from Monday, Nov. 29, through Friday, Dec. 10. Families may also register at http://pa211east.org/Lancaster/. A volunteer will deliver the holiday meal to registered participants the morning of Dec. 18.

The Lancaster County Project for the Needy is seeking donations to offset the cost of purchasing the groceries for the dinner. The project relies on individual donations for over two-thirds of the resources needed to fund the food distribution. To learn more, visit http://www.lcpn.org.
