Holiday Market Will Blend Shopping and Support

Come to the Holiday Market on Adele, and you can find something for everyone on your gift list. The vendor show will take place on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Manheim Community Farm Show exhibition hall, 502 E. Adele Ave., Manheim.

"We have over 25 vendors that will be ready to help you get your holiday shopping started," said Chelsey Harnly, who organizes the show with Stephanie Rogers.

Items for sale will include sourdough bread and other baked goods, local authored books, local farm-raised meat, Mary Kay products, clay earrings, cocoa bombs, wooden toys, crocheted items, Tupperware, modeling compound kits, home decor, baby clothes, glass tumblers and more.

Food and beverages will also be available for purchase.

"We have DLT Farms selling food and Shine Your Light Coffee Co. as our coffee vendor," Harnly stated. "The food and coffee stands will be benefiting Moms Connect."

As she explained, Moms Connect is a ministry embracing mothers of children with physical and intellectual disabilities in Christlike love.

"Their vision is to bring each mom into deeper community though establishing connections and inviting moments of encouragement and rest, while embracing and celebrating the challenges and joys of the journey," Harnly said, adding that the organization serves people throughout Lancaster County and the surrounding area.

Choosing the charity to support was an easy decision for Harnly and Rogers.

"Stephanie and I are both moms ourselves, so we know how hard it can be to find community and support in a normal motherhood journey," Harnly remarked. "But these mommas have unique challenges, so we want to help support them in any way we can."

She hopes people will stop by the Holiday Market on Adele for shopping, a bite to eat and an opportunity to give back to women in need.

"Come support local families and help keep the local economy going," she said. "Every year is so fun. You get to see businesses you might not normally get to see or support. The food is always great too!"

The building where the market will be held is handicapped-accessible, and there are restrooms available. While some vendors will accept cash only, others may take electronic payments, so shoppers should be prepared for either payment option.
