Holiday tree lighting set in Campbelltown

Campbelltown Community Alliance (CCA) will host its sixth annual holiday tree lighting event on Sunday, Dec. 1, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Campbelltown Community Park, 129 Lawn Road, Palmyra. The event will take place rain or shine.

According to CCA president Jen Bushta, the festivities will include food trucks, more than 20 vendors, kids' games, giveaway drawings, music, photo opportunities, and Santa. The first 100 kids will receive a free gift. The event will culminate with the lighting of the holiday tree at 5 p.m.

"Our holiday tree lighting has become a tradition and a community favorite. Every year we see more and more people attending," said Bushta.  "This really warms our hearts and makes us want to keep adding to the event. We think this year will be the best one yet, because we have several new additions to make the day even more joyous."
