Homestead Village Inc. will hold its "Swinging for a Cause" charity golf tournament on Friday, Sept. 23, at Fox Chase Golf Course, 300 Stevens Road, Stevens. Registration will begin at 7 a.m., and the shotgun start will occur at 8 a.m. A luncheon will follow golf.

The scramble-format tournament is open to men, women, and mixed groups of four. The event will include prizes, a putting contest, a hole-in-one contest, and a grilled steak and chicken luncheon.

Proceeds from the golf outing will benefit Homestead Village residents who have outlived their personal resources and must rely upon Homestead Village's Benevolent Care Endowment to cover their monthly fees.
