Louise Honrade, a student-athlete at Lebanon Valley College (LVC), Annville, received a conference Player of the Week award for her recent performance in tennis. She is a graduate of Manheim Township High School.

Honrade, of Lititz, was tabbed Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth Player of the Week on March 14. Honrade went 2-0 in singles and 1-1 in doubles to lead the Dutchmen to a 2-0 week in Hilton Head, S.C. LVC defeated Gordon 7-2 and then beat Roanoke 6-3. Honrade won both her No. 1 singles matches with a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Gordon to begin the week and then a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Roanoke. In doubles, she teamed with Meredith Haas and dropped a tough 8-6 decision against Gordon before finishing the week with an 8-2 victory with Sarah Kramer against Roanoke.

Honrade is pursuing a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Physical Therapy in exercise science and physical therapy at LVC.
