Hope's Haven will hold a chicken barbecue fundraiser on Saturday, July 20, from 1 to 4 p.m. The event will take place at the organization's Hopeful 4ever Home property, 4007 Bossler Road, Bainbridge, offering an opportunity to support the ministry and get a preview of the farm.

Each dinner will include a half-chicken, homemade baked beans, coleslaw, a baked potato, applesauce, a roll, a drink, and homemade desserts. The meals will be provided by Sue Z. Hope's Haven Rescue and Youth Camp is a local ministry that supports youths who have experienced trauma, conflict, or loss. A rescued or surrendered horse is paired with an adult mentor and a youth. Youths participate in the program  once a week for six weeks.
