Horse Club Slates Meeting

The Saddle Cinches 4-H Horse Club will hold an in-person reorganizational meeting on Tuesday, March 23, at Nookside Stables, 500 Landisville Road, Manheim. Masks are required, and social distancing and other COVID safety measures will be observed. Attendees must be COVID symptom-free for two weeks prior to the meeting. The club is open to youths ages 8 to 18.

This informational meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. for new member inquiries and for returning members. Attendees must bring a parent or legal guardian to the meeting. There is a club enrollment membership fee for the year for new members.

Owning a horse is not required. Participants should dress for the weather as meetings will be held outdoors. It is suggested that families bring chairs or a blanket to sit on.

At the March meeting, the Saddle Cinches 4-H Club will offer a hands-on measuring horses and saddle fitting demonstration, along with an overview of 4-H record books, and a monthly business meeting led by officers. The members will be divided into two groups to help with social distancing during the demonstrations.

Online registration is required. New, as well as returning club members, will need to sign up by Wednesday, March 31.
