HSCV Plans Presentation About Penn Family

The Historical Society of the Cocalico Valley (HSCV) will present an educational program on Wednesday, March 23, at 7 p.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 167 E. Main St., Ephrata.

In a presentation titled "The Penn Family and the Origins of Pennsylvania," Douglas Miller will discuss the Penn family's history leading up to and continuing through the establishment of Pennsylvania. Miller is the current administrator of William Penn's Colonial estate, Pennsbury Manor.
