HSCV To Share About Historical Craft

The Historical Society of the Cocalico Valley (HSCV) will offer a program titled "A Token of Love: Hair Art" on Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 7 p.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 167 E. Main St., Ephrata.

Joel Horst Nofziger will present a look at the Victorian craft of using human hair to make an ornamental display of wreaths and bouquets. This craft was practiced by Pennsylvania German Mennonites from 1850 to 1880.
