The Humane Society of Harrisburg Area will hold its Walk for Paws on Saturday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, 1 HACC Drive, Harrisburg.

This event will kick off with a 5K color run and a 1-mile walk. The festivities will continue with music provided by a DJ, vendors, food trucks, a pet costume contest, a kids' fun zone, inflatables, canine demonstrations, and adoptable animals. Dogs are welcome to attend with their people.

The registration fee will be discounted until Wednesday, April 3. Sponsorships are available.
