#iGiveCatholic initiative announced

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia is partnering with the Catholic Foundation of Greater Philadelphia to participate in #iGiveCatholic for the fourth year in a row. #iGiveCatholic is nationally recognized as the official Catholic giving day. It is celebrated annually on #GivingTuesday, which follows Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday, and will fall on Nov. 28 this year. The advance giving phase will take place through Monday, Nov. 27.

Last year, #iGiveCatholic raised more than $1.5 million for 102 Catholic parishes, schools, and charitable ministries within the five-county archdiocese. This year, 169 organizations are signed up to participate in the #iGiveCatholic initiative, including all 15 archdiocesan high schools, which is the most to ever sign up. Sponsors are providing prize incentives for all participating organizations, giving them an opportunity to raise extra funds through #iGiveCatholic.
