III For the Road to perform at music festival

Local band III For the Road will participate in the 16th annual LAUNCH Music Conference & Festival from Thursday to Sunday, April 25 to 28, in Lancaster. The band will be among the featured groups in a show beginning at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, April 26, in Salon 1 of the Commonwealth Ballroom at Lancaster County Convention Center, 25 S. Queen St., Lancaster. Doors will open at 6 p.m. III For the Road will go on stage at 9:15 p.m. The other acts scheduled to perform are Stonehouse Breakdown, Wake Up John, Voyager, Makena Tate, and Public Disco Porch.

The event is open to people of all ages, but attendees must be at least 21 to obtain alcoholic beverages. There is an admission fee. Admission is also included in LAUNCH badges, which may be purchased at http://www.launchmusicconference.com.

III For the Road consists of Elizabethtown native Jacob Vettori on lead guitar and keyboards as well as vocals, drummer Nick Pozza of Harrisburg, and bass guitarist Trey Schimmel of Harrisburg. At the upcoming festival, the band will present original songs from its album "Egg Carton Walls," recorded at Progressive Studios in Elizabethtown. The band has been together nearly seven years and has also played at Jubilee Day in Mechanicsburg, the Millennium Music Conference in Harrisburg, and the Electric City Music Conference in Scranton.
