JBT Names New Management At Manheim Branch

Jonestown Bank & Trust Co. (JBT) recently hired Jessi Sensenig as branch manager and commercial lender for the community bank's Manheim location. Current Manheim branch manager Dee Carpenter will continue to work at the Manheim branch, taking on the role of assistant vice president of commercial lending.

In addition to overseeing branch operations, Sensenig's responsibilities will focus on meeting the financial needs of businesses and residents in the Manheim area as well as engaging with community leaders in functions and events that make a meaningful difference in the community.

With more than 25 years of banking experience, Sensenig began her career at Elverson National Bank. She also worked at Bank of Lancaster County and then Blue Ball National Bank, staying on through the merger with Susquehanna Bank and then the acquisition by BB&T. Prior to joining JBT, Sensenig had been with Ephrata National Bank for six and a half years.

Sensenig is a graduate of Pequea Valley High School, Reading Area Community College and a Pennsylvania Bankers Association (PBA) program.

A board member of the Manheim Area Chamber of Commerce, Sensenig is also a classroom volunteer with Junior Achievement, a financial literacy facilitator with Tenfold and treasurer of the Warwick Girls Tennis Parent Association. She serves as children's ministry leader at Blainsport Mennonite Church.

Carpenter is a Manheim resident and has managed JBT's Manheim branch since its opening in 2017. Prior to that, Carpenter, who has been with JBT since 2011, served as branch manager and commercial lender at the Ephrata location.

A graduate of Manheim Central High School, Carpenter graduated with honors from the PBA Central Atlantic Advanced School of Banking and the PBA School of Commercial Lending. She was also part of Leadership Lancaster's Core Class of 2015.

An active member of the community, Carpenter has 27 years of banking experience and is the assistant treasurer for the Manheim Fire Company, the finance chair for the Women's Club of Manheim and a member of the Manheim Chamber of Commerce and the Manheim Rotary Club.
