Joe Kirkenir has joined Maneval Consulting as a partner, expanding the nonprofit consultancy's management team in the role of vice president.

Kirkenir will bring his expertise in fundraising and grant writing to increase the agency's capacity to serve more nonprofits in the region, as well as leading the expansion of services offered. 

Kirkenir started his career as an AmeriCorps Volunteer In Service to America and went on to serve as the director of development and communications for the YMCA of The Roses and Big Brothers Big Sisters of York & Adams Counties. He is the president for the Animal Advocates of South Central PA, chair for the Healthy York Community Engagement Committee and vice president of the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Kirkenir earned a bachelor's degree in English from Gettysburg College and a Master of Social Work from Millersville University.
