Kiwanis Club Presents Donation To Library

The Kiwanis Club of Lititz Area recently presented a $6,000 check to the Manheim Township Public Library. These funds were part of the proceeds of this year's Lititz Chocolate Walk.

The 2020 Chocolate Walk had to be scaled back because of the pandemic, but the 2021 Chocolate Walk was able to run as normal and had a sellout crowd of 2,000 ticketholders. The event raised $80,000, all of which will be used to help support various children's charities in the local area. Chocolate treats were donated by local chefs and chocolatiers, which allowed the Kiwanis Club to donate 100% of the funds raised to charity. Sponsors included Wilbur Chocolate.

Kiwanis is an international service organization focused on helping children around the world. The Lititz-area club has been supporting the Manheim Township Public Library for many years.
