The Kiwanis Club of Lititz Area recently contributed to several local organizations whose activities align with Kiwanis International's focus on helping children. The club presented a $5,000 check to the Power Packs Project, which provides weekly packages of food for local families; a $15,000 check to the Lititz Public Library, whose programs include early literacy initiatives; and an $8,000 check to the Manheim Township Public Library, which provides a variety of programs, services, and materials for children.

These donations bring the club's charitable giving for the year to more than $100,000. Charities supporting children have received a total of more than $1 million from the club over the past 30 years.
