Knights of Columbus To Host Soccer Challenge

Knights of Columbus Council 10827 will present a free soccer challenge - a penalty shot competition - on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 23 and 24, from 2 to 4 p.m. The event will take place at the Lancaster Inferno FC Turf Field, 100 W. Millport Road, Lititz. The field is located behind the Listrak Building at Millport and Buckwalter roads.

Boys and girls ages 9 to 14 will compete against others who are the same age and gender. Each participant will take 15 penalty shots on a goal that is roped off with different zones. Each zone has a different point value. Participants who score the most points will win their respective division and have the opportunity to compete at higher levels of competition, including the state level.
