Kubembereza named Student of the Month

Elizabethtown Area High School has announced that Jacqueline Kubembereza has been named the Elizabethtown Lions Club Student of the Month for January. The recognition honors a Lancaster County Career and Technology Center (LCCTC) student who demonstrates exceptional work ethic, skill and knowledge in his or her chosen field.

Jacqueline, known as Jackie, resides in Elizabethtown with her parents, Sibu Masengo and Angelique Nduwimana.

Drawn by her curiosity about how things work and operate, Jackie chose the Electromechanical Engineering Program to explore her personal interests and potential career paths. She has a particular fascination with motor control and troubleshooting, which fueled her passion for the field.

At LCCTC, Jackie has excelled academically, maintaining an "A" average in her program. Her accomplishments extend beyond the classroom as she actively participates in several extracurricular activities, including membership in the National Technical Honor Society, the Student Ambassador program and SkillsUSA. Outside of her studies, Jackie enjoys staying active through her involvement in sports.

Looking ahead, Jackie is considering many options, including pursuing a post-secondary education in business or accounting or entering the electromechanical engineering industry.
