Four students received Lampeter-Strasburg High School (LSHS) faculty recognition for their achievements in January. The Pioneer Superlatives are sophomore Emily Mullin and senior Landon Teeter, and the Students of the Month are juniors Gabrielle Chapman and Jon Salinas.

Emily is the daughter of Will and Sharon Mullin of Strasburg. At LSHS, she is a member of the honor roll, Pioneer Interact Club, Varsity Club, and the varsity volleyball team. She was an L-L League volleyball All-Star in 2020 and plays for a club team. Emily plans to attend college and play volleyball.

Landon is the son of John and Lisa Teeter of Willow Street. He is an honor roll student and a member of National Honor Society and the High School Heroes program. He is also active in his church youth group. Landon plans to attend Millersville University to study molecular biology with the goal of becoming a pharmacologist.

Gabrielle is the daughter of Peg and Jere Chapman of Lancaster. She is a member of the LSHS Aevidum Club and is active in the youth group at her church. Gabrielle plans to pursue a career in early childhood education.

Jon is the son of Michelle and Marco Salinas of Lancaster. He is an honor roll student. He plans to pursue a career as a state trooper after graduation.
