Lancaster Bible College posts two concerts

Lancaster Bible College | Capital Seminary & Graduate School will present a special concert featuring the chamber singers and men's chorus along with chamber instrumental ensembles on Friday, Nov. 3, at 7 p.m. at Highland Presbyterian Church, 500 E. Roseville Road, Lancaster.

Selections will include "Hymn to St. Cecilia" by Benjamin Britten, which assistant professor and director of vocal studies Jeffrey Martin describes as a "fantastic chamber work for unaccompanied choir" and perfect for the more intimate space of the church setting.

The concert is free and open to the public. Learn more at http://www.lbc.edu/events.

In addition, Junction Center Productions and Compassion International will present Colton Dixon and Jordan Feliz for the "Love + Light Tour" on Friday, Nov. 17, at 7 p.m. at Lancaster Bible College.

Tickets for the concert, to be held in Lancaster Bible College's Good Shepherd Chapel, 901 Eden Road, Lancaster, are available at http://www.thejunctioncenter.com or by calling 717-459-3701.

A popular Christian contemporary artist, Dixon has reached more than 100 million streams across various platforms. His most popular song, "Build a Boat," was nominated as the GMA Dove Award Song of the Year as well as the K-LOVE Fan Awards Song of the Year. He made his debut on "American Idol," where he was in the top seven contestants in Season 11. Dixon recently performed a special version of his newest release, "My Light," on "The Kelly Clarkson Show."

Despite humble beginnings working at a valet parking booth, Feliz has come a long way in the music industry with his soulful pop. Feliz made his imprint on the music world by winning New Artist of the Year at the 2016 Gospel Music Association Dove Awards. His debut single, "The River," reached No. 1 on Billboard's NCA Chart for 12 weeks. "The River" also won the ASCAP Christian Music Song of the Year Award.
