Lancaster Cancer Center achieves accreditation

Lancaster Cancer Center Ltd. recently announced that it has achieved accreditation through the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) for Pharmacy and Medically Integrated Dispensary Programs.

Accreditation is a process through which health care organizations demonstrate compliance with national standards. Accreditation by ACHC reflects an organization's dedication and commitment to meeting standards that facilitate a higher level of performance and patient care.

ACHC is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1986. ACHC is ISO 9001:2015 certified and has CMS deeming authority in its acute-care hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, clinical laboratories, and critical-access hospitals; Durable, Medical Equipment, Prosthetics and Orthotics and Supplies (DMEPOS); home health, home infusion therapy and hospice; and renal dialysis programs, and it has national recognition from third-party payors.
