Lancaster South Rotary Club honors Students of the Month

Lina Dominguez and Logan Wagner, seniors at Solanco High School, have been selected as Lancaster South Rotary Club's Students of the Month for January. The students were presented to the club by Solanco High School principal Scott Long.

Lina is the daughter of Wendy Seymour of Quarryville.

Lina has earned honor roll recognition and is a member of the National Honor Society. She is a member of Link Crew and is a Renaissance program participant. During her high school career, Lina received a leadership award and an Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) award.

Lina was a contestant in the 2023 Miss Solanco Scholarship Pageant and has volunteered at community events such as Christmas in Quarryville. She is an avid dancer and is on a competition team.

Lina plans to attend a four-year college following graduation to major in criminal justice and minor in psychology. She aspires to attend law school and become an immigration lawyer.

Logan is the son of Steve and Carmen Wagner of Quarryville.

Logan has earned distinguished honor roll recognition during his time at Solanco High School. He was a member of the baseball team and was a four-year starter on the golf team. Logan was a four-time Section 2 scoring champion in golf and was named to the Lancaster-Lebanon All League team in golf. In 2022, he placed fourth at the PIAA State Golf Championship.

He is involved with the American Junior Golf League and the Lancaster County Junior Golf Tour, competing in many junior golf tournaments. Logan volunteers at the Solanco Fair Association and assists with the Wyatt Teaman Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament.

Following graduation, Logan will attend Christopher Newport University to continue his academic and athletic career.

The Student of the Month honorees are selected on the basis of academic excellence as well as school and community service.
