LBC Posts Choir Workshop, Rend Collective Concert

Lancaster Bible College (LBC), 901 Eden Road, Lancaster, will host a one-day Gospel Choir Workshop on Saturday, April 11, in Good Shepherd Chapel.

The free event is open to high school students as well as church and community singers who desire to learn more about the gospel style. LBC's director of choral activities Robert T. Gibson will lead the workshop from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., followed by a free community concert featuring workshop participants. No tickets are required for the concert.

Gibson is director of choral activities at LBC. A Houston native, Gibson is also a conductor, composer, and clinician who desires to develop future music educators for the next generation of music education. He serves as a guest clinician with school, church, and community choirs throughout the country in addition to festivals and honor choirs.

Renowned Irish Christian folk-worship band Rend Collective will perform in Good Shepherd Chapel on Sunday, April 12, at 7 p.m.

The concert will feature some of the band's most beloved hits, including "My Lighthouse," "Build Your Kingdom Here," "Hallelujah Anyway," "Counting Every Blessing," and "Your Name Is Power."
