A free history presentation will take place on Thursday, March 28, at 6 p.m. at Senior Commons at Powder Mill, 1775 Powder Mill Road, York. The topic will be "The Lincoln Funeral Train" and how millions of Americans were able to bid farewell to the president.

Presented by Scott Mingus, Civil War author and lecturer, attendees will learn about the three-week journey to President Abraham Lincoln's final resting place in Springfield, Ill., how it was planned and executed and the connection to York.
