Library Continues Offering Pickup Service

Kreutz Creek Library, 66 Walnut Springs Road, Hellam, continues to offer lobby pickup only. Items may be picked up on Mondays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Tuesdays to Thursdays from 2 to 6 p.m. The library is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Community members should note that Kreutz Creek's services are an exception as many York County Libraries locations began offering in-library browsing starting on Jan. 25. Kreutz Creek will continue offering lobby pickup only due to its small size.

Masks and social distancing are required when picking up materials and when inside library buildings. Visitors age 2 and older are required to wear masks or appropriate face coverings. Anyone who is unable to wear a mask should contact their library to discuss alternative service options. York County Libraries is following the guidelines of the Office of Commonwealth Libraries, the governor, the Pennsylvania Health Department, and the CDC.

Items returned to the library remain on members' records for 10 days as part of the library system's quarantine procedure for library materials. Members with health issues who are unable to return materials by the due date should contact their library for accommodations.

In addition to requesting items for pickup, community members are invited to borrow digital library books and attend online programs.
