ELANCO Library officially earned a Gold Star within the PA Forward Star Library Program on Oct. 20 after earning five Silver Stars, one in each area of literacy addressed by PA Forward. PA Forward is the Pennsylvania Library Association's 21st-century literacies initiative, which encourages libraries to offer high-quality programs, services, and collections that foster the development of basic literacy, information literacy, civic and social literacy, health literacy, and financial literacy.

ELANCO Library is committed to maintaining Gold Star standing within the PA Forward program as part of the library's commitment to excellence; as part of its vision to be a highly valued, inclusive community resource for education, empowerment, enlightenment, enrichment, and entertainment; and in keeping with the objectives delineated in the library's 2023 to 2025 strategic plan.
