Library Friends plan book sale

The Friends of Lancaster Public Library will hold their annual Winter ReSort Book Sale from Friday to Sunday, Feb. 16 to 18, at the Book ReSort, 225 N. Marshall St., Lancaster. The sale will be open on Feb. 16 and Saturday, Feb. 17, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Feb. 18 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. All proceeds from the sale will go toward the operating budget of the Lancaster Public Library.

The sale will offer more than 20,000 books of varied subject matter, including like-new hardcover bestsellers and mass market paperbacks, as well as older and collectible items. Some items will be individually priced. Vinyl records, DVDs, and audiobooks will be for sale, as well as hundreds of music CDs. Discounts will be available when shoppers purchase 10-packs of CDs or DVDs. Feb. 18 will be half-price day.

On-site free parking is available, and cash, checks, and all major credit cards will be accepted.

In addition to hosting book sales, the Friends of Lancaster Public Library operate two bookstores: the Marshall Street Bookstore, 225 N. Marshall St., which is also the location for donation processing, and the Juliana Bookstore, located on the first floor of the Lancaster City branch, 151 N.
