The William H. & Marion C. Alexander Family Library's annual Friends' book sale will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, 210 W. Main St., Hummelstown.

The event will begin with a members-only preview sale on Tuesday, Oct. 12, from 5 to 8 p.m. People will be able to join the library Friends at the door. The book sale will be open to the public on Wednesday to Friday, Oct. 13 to 15, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, Oct. 16, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. On Oct. 15, there will be a half-price sale, and Oct. 16 will feature a bag sale.

This year's sale will feature children's books, adult fiction hardbacks, paperbacks, trade paperbacks and a wide assortment of nonfiction books, along with books on CD, MP3s, music CDs, computer software and DVDs. Books will be divided into categories, such as age group and genre, and there will also be large-print books. All proceeds will benefit the William H. & Marion C. Alexander Family Library.
