Books are not the only items that can be checked out of the Adamstown Area Library, 110 W. Market St., Adamstown. The library has added a new collection that allows community members to borrow instruments, outdoor games, and technology gadgets.

The Library of Things allows anyone to borrow guitars, keyboards, giant Jenga, cornhole, giant chess, lawn bowling, KanJam, Google Cardboard, and more. The items in the Library of Things are available to adult cardholders in good standing and can be checked out for a period of seven days.
