Lititz Public Library, 651 Kissel Hill Road, Lititz, will offer a variety of activities to the community. For more details and registration, contact the library at 717-626-2255 or visit http://www.lititzlibrary.org.

The library will be closed on Friday, April 4, for staff development.

The Friends of the Lititz Public Library will hold a Twisted Trivia Night fundraiser on Saturday, April 12. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and trivia will begin at 6:30 p.m. The events will include pretzel-themed trivia, pretzel refreshments, and tickets to Pretzel Fest for trivia and giveaway drawing winners. Teams may consist of up to six people. There is a fee, and only payment by credit card will be accepted. Space is limited to 12 teams. All proceeds will benefit the library.

The Friends of the Lititz Public Library will host a book sale on Thursday, April 24, from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Friday, April 25, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; and Saturday, April 26, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. A bag sale will begin at noon on April 26.

Members of the Blanketeers will gather to make blankets of various kinds for Project Linus on Tuesdays, April 1 and 15, at 2 p.m.

The library will offer several ongoing programs. These activities include Knitting Club, for knitters and crocheters, on Mondays, April 7 and 21, at 10 a.m. and Tuesdays, April 8 and 29, at 6 p.m.; Baked Books Club on April 8 at 2 p.m.; Beginner Tai Chi Easy on April 1 at 6:30 p.m.; Lititz Game Club, for players age 10 and older, on Wednesdays, April 2 and 16, at 4:30 p.m.; Astronomy Enthusiasts of Lancaster County on April 2 at 6 p.m.; Painting Club on Wednesday, April 9, at 12:30 p.m., with no meeting on Wednesday, April 23; Great Decisions Discussion Group on April 9 at 6:30 p.m.; Exploring Growing Together on Thursdays, April 10 and 24, at 11 a.m.; Lititz Garden Club on Thursday, April 3, at 6:30 p.m.; Writing Club on April 21 at 1 p.m.; Jane Austen Society on April 15 at 6:30 p.m.; the Lititz Art Association meeting on April 29 at 6 p.m.; and Accessible Yoga with Black Cat Yoga on Friday, April 18, at 10 a.m.

Grief Stories will be held on April 7 at 6 p.m. Grief Stories provides a space for hearing firsthand accounts of overcoming a tragic death and living with hope and purpose. Arlo and Capri Weiskopf will provide information on grief retreats and support groups.

An Avoiding Financial Fraud Seminar will be offered on April 8 at 6 p.m. Topics will include real-world scams, spotting scams, and keeping finances secure. The guest speakers will include Fred Nithie from the Pennsylvania Office of Aging, Officer Alex Wildberger from the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department, and Tyler Caldwell from JBT.

Carl Kline, a singer-songwriter from Lititz, will present a free concert on Thursday, April 17, at 6:30 p.m. Kline performs acoustic versions of classic rock songs, country music and original songs.

The Red Rose Quilters Guild of Lancaster Embroidery Mini Group will meet on April 23 at 1:30 p.m. The club focuses on machine embroidering.

The Sewcial Sewing Club will meet on April 23 at 6 p.m. Attendees may socialize and work on projects. They must bring their own supplies, including a portable sewing machine and an extension cord. No registration is required.

The BYOB Book Club will meet on April 24 at 2 p.m. Participants should bring a book they are currently reading.

During the Paws to Read program, children may read stories to trained therapy dogs. The program will be offered on Saturdays, April 12 and 19, at 10 a.m.

Backyard Story Time will be held on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. and Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. from April 15 to May 28. The program will take place outdoors, weather permitting. Registration is required weekly.

YWCA Story Time is scheduled for April 17 at 10 a.m. The program is geared for children ages 3 to 5.

Cruise Into Kindergarten will meet on April 21 at 6:30 p.m. Cruise Into Kindergarten is geared to children ages 3 to 6 and is based on the national Every Child Ready to Read program. After hearing a story, children and caregivers will visit stations intended to help with skills that children need to start school.

Parachute classes will be offered. Children ages 3 to 5 may attend Parachute Play on Mondays, April 28 to May 12, at 9:30, 10:30 or 11:30 a.m. as well as Tuesdays, April 29 to May 13, at 9:30 a.m. or 6 p.m.; each class is limited to 12 children. Children ages 1 and 2 with a caregiver may attend Little Parachute on Thursdays, May 1 to May 15, at 9:30, 10:30 or 11:30 a.m.; each class is limited to 10 children.
