Library Posts New Calendar

A special holiday Gingerbread Story Time with Miss Felicia will be offered from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1. There will be no Baby and Toddler Story Time or Preschool Story Time programs in December. A new session will begin in January.

Stitch and Chat, a group of needleworkers, will meet on Thursdays, Dec. 1 and 15, from 6 to 7:45 p.m. and on Tuesdays, Dec. 6 and 20, from 1 to 2:45 p.m. Attendees will meet in the Community Room.

Reiki Meditation with Miranda will be offered on Dec. 1 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Community Room. Participants will join an evening Reiki meditation session to promote feelings of peace, relaxation, and well-being.

Teen Leadership for youths ages 13 to 18 will meet from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 6. Participants will plan projects and programs for the new teen space at the library.

York Chess Club will gather from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays, Dec. 6 to 20, in the Community Room. Attendees will play chess, learn tips on how to improve their game, and meet like-minded people. People of all ages and experience levels are welcome.

Green Thumb Garden Talk will present "Create Great Kitchen Gifts With Herbal Vinegars and Oils" with Miranda Markowski from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8, in the Community Room. The program will share recipes for making herbal vinegars and oils.

Tween programs for youths ages 9 to 12 will take place from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. On Dec. 13, the Danger Club will meet, and on Dec. 20, the Library Squad will discuss library programming for its age group.

The Friends of Kreutz Creek Library Branch Support Group will gather at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 20 in the Community Room. Members will exchange ideas for fundraising events and raising awareness of the library in the community.
