Library posts schedule

Kreutz Creek Library (KCL), 66 Walnut Springs Road, Hellam, will offer programs and services to the community. For details and registration, call the library at 717-252-4080 or visit http://www.yorklibraries.org.

The Friends of Kreutz Creek Library will be at the library to accept donations of books, DVDs, CDs, audiobooks, and jigsaw puzzles from noon to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1, and from noon to 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 17.

KCL's upcoming programs include Baby and Toddler Story Time for children from birth to age 3 every Wednesday in April and Preschool Story Time for children ages 3 to 5 on Fridays, April 11 and 18. These programs will run from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m., and reservations are required.

A Family Story Time will be held at Chick-fil-A, 2801 E. Market St., York, from 9 to 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 3.

Family Story Times, geared for kids ages 1 to 5, will be held at Flinchbaugh's Orchard and Farm Market, 110 Ducktown Road, Hellam, every Tuesday in April.

The Silent Book Club, for people age 13 and up, will meet on April 3 from 6 to 7:45 p.m. The program will include trivia, refreshments, reading, and discussion about books.

Builder's Club, for kids ages 6 to 12, will be held on April 17 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and on Saturday, April 19, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Activities for tweens ages 9 to 11 will be offered on Tuesdays, April 8 and 15, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The Danger Club will meet on April 8, and Library Squad will gather on April 15.

The Spoiler Alert! teen group will meet on April 1 from 5 to 6 p.m. via Zoom to discuss books, TV shows, movies, video games, and more.

Manga Book Club for teens will take place on April 19 at 1:30 p.m. This program will occur after the library is closed to the public. Only teens attending this program will be allowed inside.

Stitch and Chat groups, for knitters and crocheters, will meet on April 3 and 17 from 6 to 7:45 p.m. and on April 1 and 15 from 1 to 2:45 p.m.

Reiki Meditation with Miranda has been discontinued due to the program leader's work schedule.

York Chess Club, for people of all ages, will be held on April 1, 8, and 15 from 6 to 8 p.m.

The Green Thumb Garden Club will meet on Thursday, April 10, at 6:30 p.m. Melanie Markowski will present "Showy, Sun-Tolerant, and Edible!"

The Friends of Kreutz Creek Library will hold a used book and puzzle sale and a bake sale on April 25 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday, April 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hellam Township Municipal Building, across Walnut Springs Road from the library. The sale will include books, puzzles, music CDs, DVDs, and audiobooks.

The Friends of Kreutz Creek Library will meet on Tuesday, April 22, at 5:30 p.m.
