Library sets springtime programs

Kreutz Creek Library (KCL), 66 Walnut Springs Road, York, will offer programs and services to the community. For details and registration, call the library at 717-252-4080 or visit http://www.yorklibraries.org.

Books for donation may be dropped off with no appointment needed on Tuesday, March 5, from noon to 6 p.m. and Wednesday, March 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

KCL's upcoming programs include Baby and Toddler Story Time for children from birth to age 3 on Wednesdays, March 6, 20 and 27, and Preschool Story Time for children ages 3 to 5 on Fridays, March 1, 8, 22 and 29. These programs will run from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m., and reservations are required. There will be no story times during the week of Monday, March 11. The next week, the story times will begin their spring session.

A Winter/Spring Family Story Time with Miss Felicia will be held at Chick-fil-A, 2801 E. Market St., York, on Thursday, March 7, at 9 a.m. Reservations are requested.

Story Times with Miss Felicia will be held for children birth to age 5 in the pavilion at Flinchbaugh's Orchard & Farm Market, 110 Ducktown Road, Hellam. The program will take place rain or shine on Tuesdays, April 2 to May 7, at 10 a.m. Reservations are requested.

Phoe, Fi, Fo, Fun: Fun with Phoe(nix) will take place on Monday, March 18, at 10:30 a.m. Junior volunteer Phoe will lead stories, songs, and a craft based on the theme "Spring." Reservations are requested.

Builder's Club, for people ages 6 to 12, will be held on Thursday, March 21, at 4:30 p.m. and Saturday, March 16, at 10:30 a.m.

Activities for tweens ages 9 to 11 will be offered on Tuesdays, March 12 and 19, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The Danger Club will meet on March 12, and Library Squad will gather on March 19.

The Spoiler Alert! teen book review group will meet via Zoom on March 7 at 5 p.m. Reservations are requested.

Manga Book Club for teens will take place on March 16 at 1:30 p.m. This program will occur after the library is closed to the public. Only teens attending this program will be allowed inside.

Stitch and Chat groups, for knitters and crocheters, will meet on March 7 and 21 from 6 to 7:45 p.m. and on Tuesdays, March 5 and 19, from 1 to 2:45 p.m.

Reiki Meditation with Miranda will take place on March 7 at 6:30 p.m.

The Green Thumb Garden Club will meet on Thursday, March 14, at 6:30 p.m. Deb Flinchbaugh will present "Winter Sowing in a Milk Jug."

York Chess Club, for people of all ages, will be held on Tuesdays, March 5, 12, and 19, at 6 p.m.

The Cookbook Discussion Group will meet on Thursday, March 28, at 6 p.m. Attendees should bring a sweet or savory prepared dish related to the theme "Citrus," along with a copy of the recipe. Reservations are required.

The One for the Money Book Discussion group will focus on "The Four Winds" by Kristin Hannah on Tuesday, March 26, at noon. In addition to discussing the book, participants will learn strategies to achieve their financial goals in good times and bad. Reservations are requested.

The Friends of Kreutz Creek Library will meet on March 26 at 5:30 p.m.
