Members of the East Hanover Lions Club celebrated their Charter Night on May 14 at Perkins Restaurant. The group celebrated 73 years as a charter club.

During the event, club president Josie Moyer presented the Presidential Appreciation Award to Lions Club member Eileen Longreen for her help in the past year. The Lion of the Year Award was presented to Barb Bloom for her hard work and dedication to the club.

Entertainment during Charter Night was provided by Memory Music, composed of Tom and Randi LaNasa from York, who provided music from the '50s and '60s.

Prior to Charter Night, the Lions Club inducted new member Chrissy LaRuffa at its dinner meeting on April 30. First vice district governor Nate Pfister performed the ceremony to welcome LaRuffa, who was sponsored by Lions Club member Eileen Longreen.
