Lions Club presents donations

The Manheim Lions Club made donations to Hope Served and Teen Central at a recent meeting. Ed Keyser, Lions Club president, presented the checks.

Through its initiatives, Hope Served aims to enable adults living with disabilities to realize greater levels of autonomy and higher qualities of life, and to ultimately serve others through purpose-filled lives as essential and integral members of their communities. More information is available at http://www.hopeserved.org.

The donation to Teen Central will help to defray the cost of an AED machine and other needed medical equipment and supplies. Teen Central is a nonprofit organization, incorporated as Oasis Youth Services, that provides spiritual development and life experiences for the youths of Manheim.
